Rain and Pizza!

As I watch my tan fade into the China smog, we woke up to a big time storm, much like the one in Wilmington (I think) without so much rain.  Students arrived at camp on motor scooters covered in bright yellow ponchos.  Our lessons for the fifth day of camp were focused on American restaurants and the almighty hot dog.  We had fun role playing restaurant etiquette and will perform a scene for the parents on Thursday.

At break we went to the "CVS".  Not exactly your normal CVS.  It was as big as a closet, but did have Lays potato chips - BLUEBERRY flavored.  Interesting combination.

After school we went for pizza!!!  Real, American style pizza!!!  The owner is a transplanted Tennessee native who came to Nanjing 9 years ago and stayed.  Even had a Bud on draft.  Pepperoni never tasted so good.  Now if I could just get a piece of ice.

Wednesday will be the sixth of seven straight school days.  We will practice our restaurant act and learn about the nifty fifty.

Oh yeah, did I mention the bathroom situation?

Until then...
